Our topic this term is Hot and Cold!
This term we will be learning all about hot and cold! In the first weeks of term we will be learning all about Winter, cold countries and animals who like to live in the snow. In the second half of the term we are turning up the heat and learning all about Africa. We will be exploring the animals that live there and comparing the climates.

Reception Parents only
This year we will be using Class Dojo to keep you connected with your child’s learning and upcoming events. You have been given a letter with your child’s code to join our class page. All you need to do is download the App and register as a parent (instructions are on the letter).
We encourage you to upload your own photographs of home learning and any experiences you would like to share with us and the rest of the class.
If you’re having trouble getting connected or have any questions then please feel free to pop in and ask.
Read with your child as often as you can but a minimum of 4 times a week. Please sign your child’s reading record when you have read and we will change their reading book.
If your child is in Reception, now is a great time to set up or continue your reading routine and enjoy sharing a book together.
